Human Bodies Exhibition

Learn all about the human body on this educational journey at the Human Bodies Exhibition in Barcelona. Change the way you see yourself, an insight into how the body operates, and understand the importance of looking after your body. 

Why Visit? 

Witness what is wrapped under that skin and how it all functions. You will be exposed to 12 bodies and 150 human organs, all REAL, during the exhibition for a limited time frame.

Museum of Natural History Barcelona (Museu de Ciències Naturals de Barcelona)

The Museum of Natural History is a great institution within itself with nearly 4 million specimens present in the field of mineralogy, paleontology, botany, and zoology. It has a long track record and was Barcelona’s first public museum. 

Why Visit? 

Consists of four centers in three of the city’s emblematic parks. Ciutadella Park is home to the scientific area, Montjuic to the Botanical Garden and the Historic Botanical Garden, and the Forum Park provides new facilities like laboratories, media library, etc.

Smart Barcelona

Spanish Interactive events on natural sciences are conducted for children 7-14 years and their respective parents. A brief introduction is given to chemistry, biology, physics, medicine, and other sciences. The tutors who guide the children into the programs are young scientists from across the best universities in Barcelona. 

Why Visit? 

Children get 20 mins in each lab, allowing them enough time to absorb the theory and create an experiment. Parents are a part of the adult program, conducted through an interactive quiz and a short lecture on the same subject.

Geologic Museum of the Barcelona Seminary (Museo Geológico del Seminario de Barcelona)

The Geologic Museum is dedicated to the study of palaeontology, with respect to invertebrate fossils. There are nearly 70,000 fossil entries dated from all geological periods out here. The space also consists of a laboratory that is suitable for preparing fossils which are later sent to its facilities.

Why Visit? 

Well-known researchers from across the globe visit the museum in order to study the material in their specialty. The museum has a historic archive collection of Vidal, Almera, Bataller, Via, Font, etc.
