The Gothic structure has an octagonal floor plan and is 54 meters tall. It is divided into five stories and has a readily accessible flat roof that serves spectacular vistas for the city. The windows with pointed arches are open to all of the bell tower's faces, and the bells are installed within them. The bell tower is one of the most interesting medieval architectures in the city, yet is one of the least known.

A big rose window on the Church's main front is an exact replica of the original window 1940, which was destroyed by fire in 1936. A Gothic arch of the main entrance is seen beneath the window.
