360° panoramic observation deck

Mirador Torre Glòries’ main draw is the 360° wraparound observation deck on the tower’s 30th floor. It gives you a bird’s eye view of the city, from where you can spot key landmarks like the Sagrada Familia, the bustling web of the city’s streets, and the Mediterranean Sea & the Tibidabo mountains in the distance. It’s also a great way to understand the city’s layout.

Hyperview Barcelona

Hyperview Barcelona is your first experience upon entering the tower. Located on a lower level, this multi-media and multisensory exhibit reimagines Barcelona as a living, breathing organism. Divided into multiple thematic installations, it blends art, technology, and science through dynamic mobility maps, climate and air-quality visuals, real-time biodiversity readings, ambient soundscapes, and interactive screens.

Cloud Cities Barcelona

Suspended at the top of the dome is Cloud Cities Barcelona, a walk-in, climbable installation. The sculpture imagines how cities might look if they floated in the sky.  You’ll move through 113 transparent modules linked by web-like pathways, stepping into bubble-like pods that hang above the observatory floor. As you scale and recline inside these suspended spaces, you’re meant to feel like you’ve left the city below and stepped into a futuristic “sky city.”

The Torre Glòries architecture

The building itself is part of the draw. Torre Glòries is a 38-story bullet-shaped skyscraper clad in shimmering glass and LED panels. At night, it lights up in colors that represent the building’s temperature; warmer colors predominate the lower sections, representing the magmatic earth, while the cooling effect of the water results in the upper portions of the tower glistening in blue. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, the tower’s form was inspired by the Montserrat Mountain and a water geyser, giving it a distinctive curved silhouette.

Tips for your visit to Mirador Torre Glòries

  • Aim to visit the observatory during golden hour. The evening sun casts a stunning, warm glow over the whole city, making it the perfect photo op.
  • Booking your tickets online is the best way to guarantee access on the day of your visit. This is crucial during the peak season as getting tickets at the venue can be tricky.
  • If it rains (even a quick drizzle), go immediately after. The city’s rooftops look cleaner, air clarity increases noticeably, and reflections from lingering moisture create unusually crisp, high-contrast panoramas. You’ll get some of the clearest views you can ever have from the tower.
  • The observation level has curved glass, which can distort or reflect light. The trick: head to the glass panels closest to structural corners, as they produce the least glare and the cleanest, flattest shots of Barcelona’s skyline.
