Las Golondrinas, which means "the swallows", began operating in 1888 on the occasion of the World Exhibition. They were the first company to offer harbor tours from the sea. Today, they are the only company that offers these tours.
Three modern catamarans are used for the "Port i Litoral" tour, with lengths of 26, 19, and 25 meters, and widths of 8.30, 7, and 6.8 meters. All are double-decker, but sun protection on the upper floor cannot be closed. There's a bar, disabled toilets, and capacity for 149 to 196 passengers. Notably, the lower deck features a glass floor for underwater views and a glass wall to see the engines. Access to the lower deck is at the front of the cabin.
The classic double-decker wooden boats are used for the harbor tours. Due to the open construction of the 19 or 20 meter long and 5 meter wide boats, these are only suitable for calm seas and not for the open sea. 150 passengers can be seated here.
